Our partner in the area of finance and sustainable banking is the GLS Bank. The green co-operative bank has been offering sustainable banking services for companies and private customers since 1974. All activities of the bank are characterized by transparency and the goal of "creating a world worth living in". We think it's important to take a closer look at how and where our money is having an impact.
When making investments, the GLS Bank adheres to a very strict catalog of criteria that excludes certain business areas such as nuclear and coal energy, armament industry and weapons, animal testing, pesticides, genetic engineering in agriculture or factory farming.

BEYOND STUDIO
Our partners for photo production are Michael Berger and Sebastian Zell from BEYOND Studio in Düsseldorf. BEYOND is a climate-neutral photo studio, making an important contribution to environmental protection. New technologies, that help to avoid far trips to shootings minimize the carbon footprint compared to traditional "on location shootings".

We source all of our packaging materials such as glassine bags, grass paper envelopes and stickers from our partner BIOBIENE from Fröndenberg/Ruhr. The use of compostable or recyclable packaging material made of grass, corn, hemp and other substances enables a plastic-free and ecologically sustainable shipping with a better carbon footprint. The shipping envelopes and boxes we use at BEARTH consist of 35 % grass from local meadows and 65 % recycled paper. The glassine bags for our garments are made from 100 % FSC-certified paper of European origin.
Did you know that only about 5 % - 6 % of the plastic waste that is generated is actually getting recycled?
It is therefore important to us at BEARTH to use rapidly renewable raw materials for packaging and shipping that at the same time are completely recyclable and biodegradable.
